peggy wilkinsonDr. Julia Mulyar helped me with a last minute tooth extraction, that no one wanted to pull. If it wasn't for Julia I would still be in a lot of pain, with a infected tooth. If you want a good dentist go to Julia. She was kind and told me word for word what she was going to do. Thank you so much Julia! It was a very pleasant experience I can't thank you enough.

The dentists and staff have a way of making you feel comfortable from start to finish. I would highly recommend this office!!!!!

kate smithNew to Alcona and decided to visit this office for a cleaning. I had been seeing a dentist for my whole life and had just had a cleaning and check up before I moved here and all was well. Had to return to Applewood for a filing and paid for exam again, I had just paid for one with my cleaning. They did X-rays and told me I had four cavities! I was beside myself. They also wanted to do major work on my front teeth that my previous dentist never mentioned to me. Very unhappy after being charged for numerous X-rays and charges for exams and fillings I don't think I really needed. Planing on driving 2 hours each way to see my previous dentist who I trusted.

Jennifer AllenI have had a fear of dentists since childhood. I hadn’t been to the dentist in about 10 years when I suddenly found myself needing one. My first experience at Applewood Dental was in April. I felt 100% comfortable there. They made me feel relaxed, explaining all they were doing. At the end of the exam, I was given options on how to proceed with treatment. I just went back for a cleaning. Again, I was made to feel welcome and relaxed. Amy was phenomenal!! She took her time and explained everything. I made more appointments today. That in itself speaks volumes since I have had such a long term fear of going to the dentist! Thank you Amy and thank you Applewood!
